Join SGA in participating with the Golden Harvest Food Bank’s Spooky To BE Hungry canned food drive. Donate any non-perishable canned food now through October 31. Drop off/Collection site is located in front of SLE office on the 1st floor of the JSAC.

Dissertation Fellowships
The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi will award two Dissertation Fellowships of $10,000 each to active members who are doctoral candidates and are completing dissertations at a US regionally accredited, doctoral -granting institution of higher education. The Dissertation Fellowship is open to all active (dues current) Phi Kappa Phi members or those who have accepted membership by November 30, 2015.
Any candidates interested in applying, please contact Kevin Frazier (kfrazier@gru.edu) or Regina Messer (rmesser@gru.edu).
Applications and any supporting documents will be accepted from October 1 to 11:59 p.m. CT on November 30.

Free Math Tutoring
The Math Assistance Center (MAC) has something to offer every math student, whether you need a little help or a lot. Free math tutoring is available in Allgood Hall N304. For a full schedule of hours, please visit here.

Channeled Paths
The non-profit Channeled Paths is looking for volunteers for the Nightmare Plantation Halloween event. They need help setting up in the month of October, and actors on October 30 and 31. If interested, please call 706-860-3400 and give your name and number.

There will be inflatables, face painting, free candy, and a Movie on the Lawn, “It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown.” This a great volunteer opportunity to give back to the community and have a little fun. Inspired by the FX series, American Horror Story, we’re bringing The CREW’s Horror Story to you! Join the Jaguar Production Crew as they bring some of the worst horrors in the world to life. There will be a dance party, free food, a costume contest, and a House of Horrors. Winners will be announced at 11:00 PM.

Come out to have a great time and indulge in some friendly competition with your fellow students while enjoying food, games, and prizes.

Come hang out with The CREW where students can carve a pumpkin for $5.00! Show off your skills, have fun in a relaxing atmosphere, and celebrate fall. Students can also receive free popcorn if they enter the Teal Tuesday contest. The best pumpkin carver will receive $25 JagCash and will be featured on The CREW’s social media. Questions? Come and see how dangerous it really is to drive under the influence by using the DUI Simulator and also by receiving a mock sobriety test with fatal vision goggles to get the full experience of being under the influence while driving.
