Pugh named Physical Plant Employee of the Year

In recognition of outstanding job performance, Latasha Pugh was named Employee of the Year for Physical Plant, after being named the Employee of the Fourth Quarter.

Pugh became a member of the ASU family in June 2008 and worked in building services on the Walton Way campus. She is the crew leader of the housekeeping staff at the Christenberry Field House, the Fleming Norvell Golf House, and the ASU Literacy Center.

In her spare time, she says that she enjoys spending family time and being a team mom for her four children who participate on the dance, football, and basketball teams. She also enjoys reading, fishing, traveling, and attending church services.

The four recipients of the Employee of the Quarter Awards were finalists for the Employee of the Year Award and, in addition to Pugh, include Curtis Kilgore, Timothy Fiocchi, and Gerald Melton.

Nominations for Employee of the Quarter come from peers in Physical Plant, and a committee of supervisors from all areas of Physical Plant selects the recipient. The recipients are selected based on job knowledge, dependability, positive attitude, quality of work, initiative, safety record, and interaction with others.
