Kicks 99 hosts an Annual Guitar Pull with some of the hottest musicians in country music sharing one stage. Dr. Heather Abdelnur, an associate professor of history, will lecture about the fascinating history of Jose Antonio Martinez, a late 19thcentury Cuban immigrant to the Augusta area and the founder of the town of Martinez.

3rd Annual Shine a Light on Summerville Campus Ghosts
6:00 PM – 8 PM
JSAC Patio, Summerville Campus
Get to know the friendly ghosts on the University Summerville Campus. This walking tour of the campus showcases the ghost’s stories and historical antecedents. The event starts with a “Jack O’Lantern” craft for younger walkers. The walk will start at 7:00 PM. Walkers will meet at the JSAC patio. Bring flashlights if you feel you need them.
