Kicks 99 hosts an Annual Guitar Pull with some of the hottest musicians in country music sharing one stage. Past acts include Luke Bryan, Darius Rucker, Martina McBride, Little Big Town, and many more. So come out to the ticket stop and register to win tickets! You must be at least 16, and have a valid ID. You can only register once.

Federal Opportunities for Mathematics Majors

Latino Americans Series: Jose Antonio Martinez: A Cuban Pioneer in Columbia County History Lecture

Dr. Heather Abdelnur, an associate professor of history, will lecture about the fascinating history of Jose Antonio Martinez, a late 19thcentury Cuban immigrant to the Augusta area and the founder of the town of Martinez.

SafeHomes Survivor’s Walk

This annual ceremony features testimonies from domestic violence survivors and a balloon release and candlelight walk. Open to the public. Wear purple to show your support. Sponsored by the GRu Division of Enrollment and Students Affairs and Ladybug’s Flower and Gifts.

3rd Annual Shine a Light on Summerville Campus Ghosts
6:00 PM – 8 PM
JSAC Patio, Summerville Campus
Get to know the friendly ghosts on the University Summerville Campus. This walking tour of the campus showcases the ghost’s stories and historical antecedents. The event starts with a “Jack O’Lantern” craft for younger walkers. The walk will start at 7:00 PM. Walkers will meet at the JSAC patio. Bring flashlights if you feel you need them.

Join the Department of English & Foreign Languages for an afternoon of reading, informal colloquia, and a reception. Two great authors (Antonya Nelson and Frank Walker) will present some of their literature work along with a book signing after the presentation.
